Panzer Dragoon is a series of video games originally developed by Team Andromeda for the Sega Saturn in the late 90s. Although the Panzer Dragoon games are predominately rail shooters, the RPG Panzer Dragoon Saga is regarded as the best game in the series by most fans.

The Panzer Dragoon games all feature a teenaged protagonist equipped with a handgun riding a dragon with the ability to fire homing lasers. The duo travel through a post-apocalyptic world while being opposed by a present day empire and the biological creations of the Ancient Age.

Remakes of the first two Panzer Dragoon games were announced in 2018, and the first of those remakes was released in 2020 on modern gaming hardware.

You can learn more about the series on Panzer Dragoon Wiki.
