French publisher Third Editions has released a new book (in French) titled Ludothèque n° 10 : Panzer Dragoon. Written by Julien Goyon, the book explores the history of the Panzer Dragoon franchise. While the book, which has a total of 104 pages, is available primarily in eBook form, there’s also a physical version of the book available to those who order at least 5 items on the store. In a thread on Twitter, Julien elaborated on the contents of the book and his reasons for writing it.
The book draws from various interviews with the developers of the Panzer Dragoon games, some of which Julien had to retrieve via WaybackMachine, as well as the in-game encyclopedias and even our very own Panzer Dragoon Legacy website! For some of his remaining questions he even contacted the creator of the Panzer Dragoon franchise, Yukio Futatsugi, who was kind enough to answer them. Julien also explains he only came in contact with the series when he was 20 years old, in 2007. After getting his first job, he ended up purchasing the three Sega Saturn games, as well as on Panzer Dragoon Orta, and quickly became a fan of the franchise. And as you can see, it eventually lead to him writing and releasing an entire book about it. Congratulations to Julien with the release of his book!
