Forever Entertainment has issued a statement on Twitter about a recent promotional tweet from the online store PlayAsia. In a now deleted tweet, PlayAsia stated that Panzer Dragoon: Remake is currently available for pre-order on their online store, which lists both a US and EU version. Forever Entertainment had this to say in response:
Hi everyone, be aware that every news regarding Panzer Dragoon: Remake needs to be CONFIRMED by us via our channels and the pre-order of the game on @playasia isn’t by any means our official distribution.
The tweet also shows an image of PlayAsia’s own tweet with the label “FAKE” stamped on it. In other words, neither the price nor the Dec 31, 2019 release date on PlayAsia’s website are accurate. As such it’s not advised to pre-order on their website as it’s not even certain they’ll be able to fulfill any pre-orders made for the game. Instead, it’s advised to follow the game’s official Twitter account to learn when the game’s really up for pre-order. As always, we’ll also be posting any news we learn about the launch date and pre-orders on our website.
While PlayAsia has now deleted their promotional tweet, their pre-order page for Panzer Dragoon: Remake is nonetheless still online at the time of writing.
