Archipel has released the third short musical interlude with Panzer Dragoon composer Saori Kobayashi, which is Zoah's Holy District theme from Panzer Dragoon Saga.
As part of a series of short musical interludes for Archipel Caravan, Saori Kobayashi has performed Ecce Valde Generous Ale, Nomad, and now a third track. It’s labeled as “Village of Zoah”, but the music is actually the Holy District theme or “Under the Guardian Fire” on the original soundtrack (the Liberal District theme is what is labeled as “Village of Zoah” on the original soundtrack, and the orchestral album “Resurrection” contains a track with this name that is a combination of both Zoah districts). Zoah’s Liberal District theme does play briefly at the end of this Archipel Caravan video though.
There’s also a clip of Saori Kobayashi before the music starts playing. She says:
Panzer Dragoon, while it may sound exaggerated, is a title that has changed my perception on music. I thought that it was the right thing for me to pursue this direction. I probably wasn’t thinking that way at the time, instead I would try to make interesting music. But now, after 20 years, and with many people around the world who are fond of this music, with CDs released and some critical acclaim. I recently figured that I was going the right path, musically speaking.
The next track is expected to be Sona mi areru ec sancitu, the ending theme for Panzer Dragoon Saga. Update: After this article was published, Archipel confirmed that the next video is planned for November 26th.
