Following a mixed reception, the Steam Next Fest Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake demo has come to an end, with the team exploring different ways to continue gathering feedback from fans.
Monika Ginter, Marketing & Communications Manager at Forever Entertainment, posted the following message thank you message for fans on their Discord, with the intent to gather further feedback:
Steam Next Fest has officially come to an end, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played the demo. It has been incredibly rewarding to see so many of you experience the game and share your thoughts with us.
We are especially grateful for your feedback. Your comments, suggestions, and detailed impressions help us better understand what works well and what still needs improvement. Every message contributes to making the final version of the game even better and more polished.
With the festival behind us, we are now fully focused on continuing development and implementing improvements based on what we have learned. There is still plenty of work ahead, and we are excited about what comes next.
At the same time, we are currently exploring different ways to continue gathering feedback from the fans. This may include another demo or other forms of collaboration with the Panzer Dragoon community. We truly value your involvement and want to create more opportunities to work together.
If you would like to follow our progress and stay informed about future updates, announcements, and the release date, please add the game to your wishlist!
Thank you once again for being part of this journey. We look forward to sharing more with you soon.
As of yesterday, the Steam Next Fest demo was sitting at a “Mixed” rating of around 60%, with just under 100 reviews (the page has been taken down, so I can no longer verify the final numbers). While the demo has definitely taken a turn for the better over the Tokyo Game Show build, such as making changes to ensure that art direction is more faithful to the original, there’s certainly still significant room for improvement.
