On the 10th of March 1995, the original Panzer Dragoon game was released in Japan, making today the thirtieth anniversary of the franchise.
It’s hard to believe it’s been thirty years since Panzer Dragoon was released on the Sega Saturn, but here we are. Introducing revolutionary 3D graphics and an immersive, otherworldly game world to console owners, Panzer Dragoon was a game like no other.

While new releases in the series may seem like oases in the middle of a desert, with a remake of the second game still in development, the Panzer Dragoon series is set to continue at an unspecified time in the future. Here’s to my favourite game series continuing with further episodes during the next thirty years.
