It’s been 25 years since the original Panzer Dragoon game was released into the wild. Has it really been that long? Yes it has; the series began on March 10, 1995, when the original adventure of the armoured blue dragon launched in Japan, beginning one of the greatest gaming franchises of all time.
The themes and mysteries of the Panzer Dragoon universe still inspire the Panzer Dragoon community two and half decades later. Despite it’s lengthy hiatus, there’s still an active fan community surrounding the Panzer Dragoon series on the Internet. It’s fitting that after 25 years, Panzer Dragoon is about to be released again in an updated form for Nintendo Switch and other platforms in the form of Panzer Dragoon: Remake.
