The PC version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is now available for pre-purchase on Steam. The game will be released on the 1st of February, 2013, in approximately two weeks.
The system requirements for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed have not yet been revealed. Steam lists local co-op mode being available, which is a welcome sight considering that many PC games drop local multiplayer altogether. Although the listing doesn’t mention achievements, leaderboards, or full controller support, it seems likely that these features will be included too (or at least partial controller support). Steam sometimes neglects to mention features even after the game is released, for example in the Sonic Adventure 2 listing.
In any case, it’s great that PC gamers will finally be able to experience Dragon Canyon, the Panzer Dragoon themed track included in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
