Over on the Assembler Games forum, member Esppiral has figured out how to change the horizontal and vertical field of view in Panzer Dragoon Saga. The result is that the game can now be played in widescreen, as demonstrated in the following screenshots (click the thumbnail to view the full screenshot in widescreen):
You can check out the full topic where Esppiral provides codes to get the widescreen hack working on various Saturn emulators. Seeing these screenshots make me wonder just how good a remastered Panzer Dragoon Saga could look.
