A quick fix for Panzer Dragoon: Remake on Steam was released today, adding two options that players asked for, v-sync and chromatic aberration toggles.
Today a patch for Panzer Dragoon: Remake was released on Steam, adding two options that players suggested to be added to the game. You are now able to turn v-sync on or off, since screen tearing was an issue for some. You can also now turn off chromatic aberration, labeled as “fringe” in the settings, which removes the distortion around the edges of the screen. At this time, those two options are unable to be selected with the controller.
The quick fix is only available on Steam at this time, but will be coming to the GOG version soon. The fix is still marked on the title screen as 1.4, which is the version number that the PC version was released at.
The PC and PS4 versions (version 1.4 on the title screen) have some differences from the Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia versions of the game (version 1.3 on the title screen). There is a new loading screen (pictured), flashes of light from the gun that light up the scenery, and the dragon’s lasers no longer overlap the dragon in photo mode.
