Forever Entertainment have confirmed that visitors to Tokyo Game Show will be able to play the demo of Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake for the very first time!
Despite being falsely rumoured as being a cancelled project by the masses on social media, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is very much alive and will playable at Tokyo Game Show 2025 later this month.
Forever Entertainment, reporting from the official Panzer Dragoon: Remake account on X writes that the game will be playable at the Rainy Frog Games booth:
🐉 The legend returns at Tokyo Game Show 2025!
Visitors at the @RainyFrogGames booth will be able to play the demo of Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake for the very first time.
🎮 Get ready to relive the iconic rail shooter with modern visuals and remastered music.
The included image shows Lundi and Lagi flying beneath Shelcoof and the logo of Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake, retaining the duplication of “II” and “Zwei” from the original logo.
Forever Entertainment have confirmed that there is no release date yet, but that the intended platforms are Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. We also have a companion article containing PC requirements, screenshots, the price (US$24.99), and a confirmation that the second remake will once again feature a Saori Kobayashi version of the soundtrack.
It goes without saying that this long awaited follow up to 2020’s Panzer Dragoon: Remake has been greatly anticipated by fans. I’ve been looking forward to it especially, since (for me) Panzer Dragoon II Zwei was the game that started it all.
