As we draw near to the end of the year, we're winding down our account on X in favour of posting on Bluesky as our social media channel in 2025.
A part of a recent shift to streamline our social media offerings, I recently discontinued our Facebook page. After further consideration, I’ve made a decision to focus solely on relative newcomer Bluesky in the new year and beyond as our primary social media channel. Bluesky has now gained the critical mass needed to become a viable Twitter replacement, and unlike Threads and Mastodon, has been widely adopted by members of the Panzer Dragoon fan community.

From today, we’ll halt posting updates to X, and continue to focus on growing our Bluesky following. By the end of the year, we’ll set our X account to private.
Twitter in particular proved very useful for us to build up a following away from our website. But whatever benefit Twitter provided has now been overshadowed by the downsides of its descent into becoming the far-right website now known as X. As with the Empire in Panzer Dragoon Saga’s story (which started out as a group of Seekers), Twitter began as a service benefiting the people, but as it became X it turned into a force used to promote authoritarianism.
While Bluesky uses a chronological algorithm that does not impose their content into your feed, there isn’t a single approach to social media that will suit everyone, so we’ll continue to cross-post our Bluesky posts to Mastodon via our automated bridge if you want to follow us from there.
We’re currently seeing more posts about Panzer Dragoon on Bluesky than on X. In terms of official accounts, Wildman, the developer of Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record, recently joined Bluesky. We note that Forever Entertainment has not joined yet, but hope to see them on Bluesky in due course. Regardless, we’ll continue to cover any news of Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake on Bluesky, and here on this website, going forward.
