Even among pure-type creatures, the Catharp has outstanding offensive capabilities. Researchers have found numerous samples of Catharp, all inexplicably inactive, and have reasoned that these creatures were once deployed upon the battlefield in large quantities. They are highly adaptive creatures and are able to use various “modes” dependent on the situation.

They can run on all four limbs when speed is necessary, but they can also retract onto their hind limbs to utilize their front limbs in combat. It is rumored that the researchers at the Academy have managed to capture a live sample, and are currently studying it closely.
